Numerous conversions for the most different types of ship
Peters Werft can look back over numerous conversions of yachts, vessels and suction dredgers. For example, the former research ship “Solea” was converted for private use in 2004 over a 14 month period and the conversion of the dredger “Josef Möbius” led to an increase in loading capacity. With the restoration of the historic Tall Ship Fourmasted Bark “PEKING” from 2017 – 2020 we coped with a very special challenge and converted the sailing vessel into a stationary museum ship, to become the main attraction of the German Harbour Museum in Hamburg. The delivery in September 2020 to her home port of Hamburg was accompanied by numerous interested people. The comprehensive know-how of our team together with their innovative ideas perform an important role in such complex conversions.
