RESEARCH.

The former German fishery protection vessel SEEFALKE had been converted to a multi-functional scientific research vessel. In a trusting cooperation between owner’s respresentatives and crew RV FALKOR was converted to one of the most innovative scientific research vessels in the world. Just to name a few topics covered in the refit, all systems had been renewed to state-of-the-art technology, and the vessel had been equipped with a sonar gondola for underwater sonar scanning and oceanographic research systems, and an extendable sonar for the collection of scientific data.
